NY Cake

I was on my way to a bakery but had to make a stop at NY bake to get some candles. To my surprise, they added a NY Bake Cafe where I was welcomed beautifully. I took a risk to ask for a last min cake, and to my surprise, they went above and beyond to not only help me but to make my special cake super special. They were honest, helpful & tasteful I the way they elaborated my vision. The cake was a hit to the bday boy, and the flavor, as simple as vanilla can be, was extremely delicious! Highly recommend them & I'm sure your experience will exceed your expectations. Thank you for your help! P.s. Cannot wait to try their goods.

Pretty amazing store despite the staff ignoring you... went here three times, all those times I needed assistance looking for items had to "hunt down" a staff member myself only for them to tell me I would have to order the item I wanted online due to it being out of stock which is understandable, BUT! I found everything else I was looking for! They have a wide variety of molds, edible pigment, chocolate, colorful candy melts, and every baking supply and decoration you can think of, made some pretty good holiday desserts thanks to their supplies!

My first cake decorating 101 class and I loved it. Lisa Monsour is an excellent instructor. She walked through every step in detail and with patience. She also went around checking in with everyone to help improve our techniques. I left that class with a pretty fabulous looking cake using pink frosting with ruffle shape. Will be coming back for sure.

Ny cake review I had a great time & learning experience at the 101 decorating class! However there’s some pros and cons to it. Pros: the instructor, Lisa, is great and goes around to help everyone. She gave good tips on decorating and layering that I plan to use in my baking journey. Also the store is so nice with the holiday vibe! Cons: the room where class is held is pretty small for the amount of ppl in it. I was literally back to back with another person with no real space to decorate. Also there were NO stools to sit on. So for 2 1/2 hours you’re standing. Also the class is short for the steep $150 price. At least 4 hours would be better. Finally, once your pretty cake is done and ready to eat…it’s ROCK hard. the cake that was pre-baked was super dry and tasteless!! Pls at least make proper sponge cakes for us to enjoy after our hard work decorating: Bc of this I’m not sure if I would attend another class. Gonna keep looking around but just wanted to give my honest review.

They did a great job ignoring the FU€|< out of me!! I was so impressed when I walked in. The store is beautiful and they seem to have everything. However, I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I wondered around and the employees just ignored me. I saw three women in black polos talking and I asked one of them if she could help. I told her what I was looking for and she just walked away. I yelled, “excuse me, are you going to get it or are you ignoring me?” She waved her arm in a gesture for me to follow her, I did. She pointed and then she walked away. I didn’t find the pineapple oil I was looking for. I left. Sad.

I'M A KID AT A CANDY STORE WITH THIS PLACE! 😊 Loved how organized and spacious it is! Today is the grand opening since the relocation and they're having a 10% OFF sale!! I was greeted by staff very warmly and Emma helped me with everything I needed! When you walk in don't forget to check out their NEW BAKERY to the left! 😱 I'm in heaven with this place!!! Can't wait to go back! 😍 And they open at 9AM! HUGE PLUS for me! I've attached photos of only a few of the many aisles of what they have! ❤
